the 6 superior values

In the Pick Up world, there are many different opinions as to what gets girls interested in guys. There are even several shady yet interesting acronyms such as DHV, DLVs, PUAs, etc, that make the whole thing seem like only a revered few know the secret recipe. Truth be told, these 6 qualities that girls value in guys are kind of common sense if you just think about it a little bit….these are the 6 Superior Values.

1 – Tribal leader – It is said that even though our society has evolved in the last few thousand years, evolutionary we are still cave creatures that answer to prompts like the need to kill the mammoth for food. Maybe you know that guy who always gets his buddies together Friday nights. Or that guy that suggests to the other guys which trip or game to go to. This guys has that certain something that the rest of the circle of friends gravitate around. He is the tribal leader.  Many of us aren’t born tribal leaders (otherwise, who would follow?) BUT most of us can almost always remember a time when we have convinced our friends to do something. Do you remember what you said or how you said it? This is the type of confident leadership girls look to, and there’s a bunch of ways to show it!

2 – Group protector – Do you remember that time at the game with that idiot who wouldn’t shut up? Well then you probably remember that friend of yours who told told that fan to keep it shut. That friend of yours took a chance (maybe big or small) and put himself on the line for the good of the group. It’s not a matter of picking a fight either, but taking a stand, even if that guy won’t listen. Just by taking that step to protect the group you’ve elevated your worth in the eyes of a girl. From an evolutionary point of view, the world is cold, mean, and ruthless, and deep down girls are looking for that caveman with a club to protect them. You don’t necessarily have to use that club, but just the fact you’re willing to use it from time to time is usually good enough for them.  Remember, it’s not the size of your club, it’s how you use it  😛

3 – Authentic responder -Maybe you remember that time you started talking to a girl by asking where she’s from, what she does, what she studies…yawn.Girls don’t want to be interviewed while you’re hiding your cards. They want to see someone not afraid to give his opinion or get mad. They remember and value PERSONALITY above all, whether good, bad, or ugly. So just react and based on her response you’ll get an idea of how to adapt to her later. Even if you cuss out of turn or make a bad joke, you’ve already achieved the first step this way: you got her attention!

4 – Chosen by other girls – If you can convince a girl that other girls have chosen you before, then you have Superior Value to her. Why? Because subconsciously you are communicating that you have been deemed worthy of other girls’ company for friendship, leadership, or social protectorship (sisters and mothers don’t count!). So if you have pictures or anecdotes with a group of girls, this would be the time to get ’em out!

5 – Have other options – In other words, you should give the impression that you have other things to do if she won’t give you her time. It’s not just about showing you’re too cool for school Walter Kronkite. Rather it’s about showing that your time and options are valuable because you are a superior guy inherently. Of course, you gotta be careful not to come off as a jerk either. Unless you’re negging. But we’ll get into that later  :)

6 – Higher calling – Have you ever been at a dinner party and met someone that just blew you away from how dedicated they can be to their hobby or job or way of life in a somewhat selfless sort of way? This is a higher calling. Like having other options, you also gotta be careful not to come off as a vain egocentric jerk, but showing that you care about something more than you transmits passion and emotion. It’s the stuff great movies are made of. And girls dig it indeed.
